If God does not endow us with inalienable rights, can we infer that no one's rights were violated at Auschwitz?

Atheism rules out God as the author of human rights, leaving only humans to bestow rights by personal opinion or by government decision. In Nazi Germany, both public opinion and government policy rejected religious freedom and the right to life of Jews. Does this mean there was no violation of inalienable rights?
