If you go to a foreign college are you still a U.S. citizen?

I am looking into a college in Egypt in 2 years after I graduate and I want to go for the full 4 years then come back to the states for about a year or two then I'm going to be nomadic and travel all over to help people in need. Anyways, will I still be a U.S. citizen? I would think so but I just wanted to check. Thank you. I'm a female by the way. -Lissa
