I told her i love... and now she's confused?

So I told my Girlfriend of one month that I loved her a day ago, I had no plan of telling her that for awhile because I know those are powerful words, and can often scare if said too early. I originally just wanted to ask what her definition of love was, but toward the end that just morphed into "I love you, Lissa" and we were on the phone so that didn't help AT ALL probably... I had been beating around the bush and she said she had an idea of what i wanted to ask, and kept telling me to just say it! So I did, and she said she was surprised and didn't really know how to take it, because there are different types of love, like I love that you're my girlfriend, and I'm in love with you. So i called the day after this happened and explained that I really had no intention of saying I loved her that night, but that it just popped out. But she says she's still confused about something, but isn't quite sure what it is... Please give any advice on what she may be confused about and how i should clear this up. (this is very long)
