Is the Last Sacrifice the last book of the Vampire Academy series?

It's the last, but not exactly. Richelle Mead is working on a new series called Bloodlines to be released August this year. The main characters are the Vampire Academy series' minor characters, such as Sydney Sage. As far as I know, Sydney will be the narrator and main character. Rose, Dimitri, and Lissa will still be in the story, but as minor characters this time.
